摘要: The Nordic Seas play significant roles in the Thermo-Haline Circulation of coupled Atlantic Ocean-Arctic Ocean System. Heat exchange, deep convection and deep-water formation take place there. Barotropic topographically steered, northward flow on eastern side carries warm and, salt Water to Arctic through Barents Sea Fram Strait. On other side, along Greenland shelf, cold fresh water from flows southwards into Ocean. Cold dense formed Mediterranean leaves trenches Greenland-Scotland Ridge as overflow Based publications recent data collected during VEINS project by IOPAS a general description circulation is given.
