摘要: We study the interaction of focused radially-polarized light with metal nanospheres. By expanding electromagnetic field in terms multipoles, we gain insight on excitation localized surface plasmon-polariton resonances nanoparticle. show that beams offer more opportunities than a plane wave or Gaussian beam for tuning near- and far-field system response. These results find applications nano-optics, optical tweezers, data storage.
