摘要: Summary: Purpose: To ascertain whether bimodal psychosis (i.e., independent postictal and interictal psychosis) in patients with epilepsy can be characterized by that develops after remits. Methods: We reviewed the records of 14 treated at a national center hospital. Clinical psychopathological characteristics were examined. Results: Among psychosis, four initially had 10 psychosis. That is, interictal-antecedent cases, postictal-antecedent cases. Patients composed 2.2% total (n = 180) 28.5% All partial complex seizures, bilateral EEG abnormalities, borderline (or decreased) intellectual functioning. Most these clinical features are common to both types mean age onset initial symptoms was 10.8 years (SD, 4.3 years) for epilepsy, 24.4 (6.1) 33.8 (4.5) Conclusions: In few patients, remission Interictal-antecedent is not likely discrete entity because several may have greater vulnerability develop psychotic episodes easily, regardless presence preceding seizures. Key Words: Epilepsy—Psychosis—Postictal psychosis—Interictal
