摘要: Multiple risk factors for deformational plagiocephaly (DP) have been reported. The purpose of this study was to establish the impact these variables on severity deformity. A prospective cohort performed. Parents completed a standardized questionnaire assessing potential DP before assessment. Examination included measurement transcranial difference (TCD; ie, in oblique cranial lengths), evaluation head tilt, and rotational asymmetry. Pearson correlation coefficient, 1-way analysis variance, 2-sample t-test were used quantify relationship between identified TCD. total 434 patients with evaluated. Male-to-female ratio 2:1; mean gestational age 36.5 weeks. Deformational first appreciated at infant 6 preexisting diagnosis torticollis noted fewer than 50%. Mean TCD 11.2 mm. Head tilt documented 80% infants, asymmetry 16.4 degrees. more severe multiple birth pregnancies (P < 0.05), males infants favorite position 0.01), preexamination 0.05).
