摘要: Abstract The wide-body mining dump truck is a type of heavy-duty, off-highway that mainly used for transporting rock and ore in open-pit mines. Because various potholes, obstacles, slopes curves on the bumpy road, frame impacted by multiform large loads from ground. After five to six months service, cracks tend appear truck, near rear seating front leaf springs. To identify cause these failures propose an approach improving design, practical method combined with finite element analysis (FEA), as well static dynamic testing, was applied. FEA analyze cracking, after which design improved. Static tests were conducted verify results improved frame. Analysis indicated stresses are concentrated springs, premature appearance fatigue cracks. A solution preventing proposed. has been service more than twelve mine no have appeared date.
