摘要: The 2D wavelet transform modulus maxima method is used to obtain quantitative information on the fractal/multifractal nature and anisotropic structure of Galactic atomic hydrogen (H I) from Canadian Plane Survey. Five mosaics were analyzed in second quadrant Milky Way, corresponding Local, Perseus, Outer spiral arms, as well two "interarm" regions located between these three arms. A monofractal signature found for all five mosaics. An detected: rms roughness fluctuations latitude direction differ those longitude direction. This anisotropy scale-independent interarm while it scale-dependent longitudinal matter distribution H I similar latitudinal smoother These results hold physical length scales studied, ~2 pc Local arm ~44 arm. Several hypotheses are investigated provide a explanation: scale-height gradient, density wave, star formation activity, photolevitation dusty clouds, random motion corrugation, turbulence. slopes power spectra an increasing number velocity channels compared 11 sections column mosaic. All identical within uncertainties (-3.0) we do not detect plane change law index predicted by Lazarian Pogosyan.
