摘要: Abstract A high-performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) procedure has been developed for the separation of phospholipids commonly found in amniotic fluid. The was achieved on a 25-cm column packed with LiChrosorb DIOL (10 μm). 3-cm silica fitted between injector and to provide complete lecithin (L) sphingomyelin (S) from remaining fluid phospholipids. eluted were quantitated employing an ultraviolet absorption detector set at 203 nm. new HPLC described herein improved resolution peak sharpness L S. Furthermore, phosphatidyl glycerol inositol completely separated quantitated. Amniotic L/S ratios determined by this technique have compared those established thin-layer procedure.
