摘要: Marine environmental disturbance can be assessed directly from physical and chemical parameters, or indirectly by the study of indicator species. In this study, an integrated approach to monitor Gulf Milazzo, labeled as a highly contaminated site, is presented. A total 83 samples were collected hard soft bottoms in 2010. sum, 2739 specimens belonging 246 taxa, two first records for Tyrrhenian Sea (Micronephthys stammeri Nicomache lumbricalis) three nonindigenous species (Brachidontes pharaonis, Crassostrea gigas Notomastus aberans) recorded. Biodiversity biotic indices their relationship with sediment parameters level pollutants describe faunal assemblage evaluate quality. Pearson tests evidenced significant negative correlation between polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) specific richness (p<0.10). comparison standard recorded values showed that M-AMBI seems index more representative ecological quality status (EcoQ) Milazzo. No evident signs highlighted on complex.
