摘要: The effectual role of the female sex hormone in pathogenesis mammary adenocarcinoma mice hereditarily predisposed has been demonstrated. It was established, 1932, that folliculin injected regularly into males almost constantly produces this type cancer, which otherwise is never observed (1). This oestrogenic substance thus shows itself to be carcinogenic. Reciprocally, certain carcinogenic hydrocarbons are known possess properties, as established by Cook, Dodds and Hewett 1933 (2). Certain hormones coexist variable proportions urine gravid mare seem, from experiments mice, endowed with double power oestrogenesis carcinogenesis (3). appears, however, these analogous treatment three substances closely allied oestrone, equiline equilenine, provokes quite different reactions organism. From Table I, summarizing one experiments, two facts emerge: ( a ) variation period between injection appearance adenocarcinoma; b frequency complications dependent upon reaction prostate uterus oestrone. Variation Time Appearance Mammary Adenocarcinoma A study average latent before cancer made on litters strain R 3, under like conditions, first days life, each mentioned. Weekly injections were given 1/20 c.c. an oil solution benzoate equiline, or 1:1000.
