摘要: Oral glucose (75 g) tolerance tests were performed on 189 urbanized Micronesians with an age range of 15 to 70 years. The subjects divided into 6 groups the basis 2 h plasma and pattern insulin response examined. Fasting levels not significantly different over entire tolerance. highest in group value 140–199 mg/100 ml. There was a progressive fall increasing intolerance, so that ⩾ 400 ml, level less than all other groups. Obesity most important factor influencing both fasting no effect corresponding demonstrated.
