A quantitative study on the effectiveness of peer review for academic journals

摘要: Peer review is a classic method in the field of quality analysis, but effectiveness peer reviewing has never been researched using quantity analysis indicators. A new indicator for academic journals, Effectiveness Review (EPR), defined evaluating reviewing. If assumption valid, EPR could be simple such effectiveness. In sample experiment, 28 journals were tested, and was able to reflect accurately impact those journals.
