摘要: G protein-coupled receptor kinase 2 (GRK2) is emerging as a pivotal signalling hub able to integrate different transduction cascades. This ability appears underlie its central role in physiological and pathological conditions. Key mediators of cardiovascular function (such catecholamines or angiotensin II) components the systemic milieu altered insulin resistance conditions converge increasing GRK2 levels diverse cell types. In turn, would simultaneously modulate several regulatory pathways, including GPCR cascades, NO bioavailability mitochondrial function. fact can help explain contribution increased maladaptive remodeling. It also unveils link between pathologies co-morbidities such obesity type diabetes. On other hand, enhanced expression, observed adipose tissues, liver skeletal muscle during resistance-related pathologies, could modify orchestration these crucial metabolic organs, contribute key features obese insulin-resistant phenotype.
