VENDOR DIVERSITY IN PUBLIC SECTOR PURCHASING: THE CASE OF THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH

摘要: This article explores the use of a quality management model by public sector agency to implement socially responsible purchasing initiative related minority diversity vendor pool. There is description and discussion for planning implementing with focus on changing organizational culture reinforcing policy priorities. The initial success in increasing total contracted dollars minorities suggests that implementation useful approach initiating within an organization.
