摘要: The CERN on-line isotope separator facility ISOLDE is a unique tool for studying problems in nuclear, atomic, surface and solid state physics, nuclear medicine astrophysics. Protons very short high intensity pulses from the PS Booster are directed on either one of targets two mass separators. 60 keV ions them fed into common beam transport system to which most experiments connected. layout presented detailed description separators distribution given. Also radiation shielding handling radioactivity discussed.
