Effective thermal conduction in composite materials

摘要: The problem of determining the bounds and/or estimating effective thermal conductivity (λ eff) a composite (multiphase) system given volume fractions and conductivities components has been investigated. A comparison between measured data results predicted by theoretical models made for seven heterogeneous samples. tested include those medium theory (EMT), Hashin Shtrikman (HS) bounds, Wiener bounds. These can be used to characterize macroscopic homogeneous isotropic multiphase materials either overall random mixture. It turns out that most suitable one these estimate λ eff is EMT model. This model mathematical based on homogeneity condition which satisfies existence statistically encloses inclusions different phases. Numerical values samples satisfy imposed are in best agreement with experimentally ones.
