摘要: Various foam formulations based on polyethylene and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers were investigated. Interactions between crosslinking blowing agent concentrations systematically studied for each base polymer using a two-stage compression moulding technique to manufacture the foams effects physical properties determined. Initial studies progressively increased concentration, whilst maintaining fixed level, resulting in density relative reduction as expected. However, it was observed that at any specific with increasing chain branching vinyl content copolymers. This phenomenon satisfactorily explained terms of efficiency tertiary hydrogen concentration by comprehensive gel content, melt strength expansion temperature cell size trends. Surprisingly, particular suggesting absolute is function nucleation first stage process.
