摘要: Bisphenol-A-glycidyldimethacrylate (BisGMA) is a frequently used monomer in dental restorative resins. However, BisGMA could leach from resins after polymerization leading to inflammation the peripheral environment. Wogonin, natural flavone derivative, has several benefits, such as antioxidative, anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective properties. Pretreatment of macrophage RAW264.7 cells with wogonin inhibited cytotoxicity which induced by concentration-dependent manner. apoptotic responses, redistribution phosphatidylserine internal external membrane DNA fragmentation, were decreased In addition, BisGMA-induced genotoxicity, detected cytokinesis-blocked micronucleus single-cell gel electrophoresis assays, Furthermore, suppressed BisGMA–induced activation intrinsic caspase pathways, caspases-3 −8. Parallel trends observed inhibition caspase-3 −8 activities, apoptosis, genotoxicity. These results indicate apoptosis genotoxicity mainly via pathway macrophages. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
