摘要: Abstract The leaching of chalcopyrite in aqueous cupric chloride solutions is treated with a thermodynamic model which incorporates the equilibria associated formation various cupric, cuprous and ferrous complexes. precipitate from refluxing slurry elemental sulfur chlorides contained predominantly covellite (CuS) small amount pyrite (FeS2). Mossbauer spectra indicate that there was no formation. Cupric experiments on both concentrate sulfide indicated extent ion these controlled by thermodynamics equilibrium: CuS+Cu 2+ ⇌ 2 Cu + +S 0 Conditions favor desired complete reduction are discussed.
