摘要: The liver is the organ most commonly injured during blunt abdominal trauma. As our society ages, emergency surgery for active elderly patients increases, but data on aggressive hepatic resection remain scarce in literature. purpose of this study was to determine whether (70 years age or older) can tolerate major injury and subsequent resection. We investigated 100 who were treated by an anatomic severe trauma (29 70 older 71 young younger than age) a retrospective study. more severely as demonstrated higher Injury Severity Score, lower Glascow Coma Scale, survival (80.3% vs. 65.5%; p<0.05). total number associated injuries greater patients. Motor vehicle accidents responsible 71.8% group, predominant mechanism also motor (51.7%). resections performed included right hemihepatectomy (n=45), left lateral segment (n=14), bisegmentectomy (n=5), others. 29 (n=15), (n=4), Pneumonia, subphrenic abscess, urosepsis occurred at significantly frequency Our clearly indicated that (1) injury, grade intraabdominal injuries, distribution surgical procedures, complications differ between patients; (2) rate (65.5%) may be sufficient consider useful, safe procedure.
