摘要: Objective To perform an observational cohort study with esophageal pH-multichannel intraluminal impedance (pH-MII) monitoring in symptomatic preterm infants and without bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD). Study design We prospectively studied 46 born ≤32 weeks gestational age: 12 BPD and 34 BPD. Each patient had symptoms consistent gastroesophageal reflux 24-hour pH-MII, which were compared between non-BPD by univariate analysis quantile regression analysis. Results Demographic clinical characteristics similar BPD, except for fluid administration (145 vs 163 mL/kg/d, P  = .003), length of stay (92 69 days,  = .019), time to achieve complete oral feeding (76 51 days,  = .013). The 1104 hours pH-MII tracings demonstrated that increased numbers pH-only events (median number 21 9) a higher symptom sensitivity index (9% 4.9%); the acid, weakly nonacid gas events, acid exposure, clearance, recorded did not significantly differ 2 groups. Conclusions (and for) among may be explained several factors, including lower milk intake, impaired motility, peculiar autonomic nervous system response pattern.
