摘要: Background: Primary sarcoma of the prostate is extremely rare and accounts for 0.1% all cancers. This type cancer associated with poor prognosis due to aggressive biological behavior. The World Health Organization histologically classified sarcomas as stromal tumor unknown malignant potential (STUMP) sarcoma. Patients Methods: A 39-year-old patient presented lower urinary tract symptoms over last few months. On digital rectal examination, right lobe was diffusely hard on palpation. Prostate-specific antigen 0.5 ng/ml. biopsy specimen obtained guidance transrectal ultrasonography. Immunohistochemical examination revealed positive staining vimentin, actin, desmin. Results: 18 F-fluorodeoxyglucose-positron-emission tomography/computed tomography scans staging purposes diagnosis primary spindle cell carcinoma widespread lung liver metastases. doxorubicin-based systemic chemotherapy (CTx) initiated. Conclusion: Spindle have quite nature they high metastase. Average life expectancy <1 year poor. CTx radiation therapy can't yield curative effects differentiation.
