摘要: The voltage-dependent anion-selective channel of the outer mitochondrial membrane provides a unique system in which to study molecular basis voltage gating ion flow. We have cloned and sequenced acDNA coding for this protein yeast. From derived amino acid sequence, we generated preliminary model secondary structure suggests that forms “β-barrel” type structure. Comparison VDAC sequence with bacterial porins has indicated two classes molecules appear be unrelated.
