Gulf Stream surface transport and statistics at 69°W from the Geosat altimeter

摘要: Geosat altimeter height measurements for the Gulf Stream three subtracks from Exact Repeat Mission were processed to remove geoid and mean height. A Gaussian model velocity profile was used predict form of residual profiles seen by profile, using estimates width position derived residuals.
