摘要: Abstract Two new members of the ABC superfamily transporter genes have recently been identified within Major Histocompatibility Complex in man, rat and mouse. Although exact function these is not known, they shown to be necessary for presentation peptides derived from degradation cytoplasmic protein antigens cellular immune systems. For this reason named TAP1 TAP2 (for Transporter associated with Antigen Presentation). Each gene encodes one membrane spanning domain region homologous ATP binding domains that characterise superfamily. The two proteins encoded by TAP a complex localised membranes endoplasmic reticulum cis-golgi. Their most likely functions transport short peptides, lack signal sequences, cytoplasm reticulum, although evidence still indirect.
