Frequency tracking and variable bandwidth for line noise filtering without a reference

摘要: This paper presents a method for filtering line noise using an adaptive canceling (ANC) technique. effectively eliminates the sinusoidal contamination while achieving narrower bandwidth than typical notch filters and without relying on availability of reference signal as ANC methods normally do. A is instead digitally generated filter efficiently tracks power frequency, which drifts around known value. The filter's learning rate also automatically adjusted to achieve faster more accurate convergence control bandwidth. In this focus discussion data will be electrocorticographic (ECoG) neural signals, but presented technique applicable other recordings.
