Signaling an interrupt request through daisy chained devices

摘要: A system and a method for asynchronously signaling interrupts from plurality of devices in computing system, while optimizing the latencies handling interrupts. In particular embodiment, an interrupt is signaled via daisy chained by handing over request one device to another retaining information regarding any handed (also referred as passed). this way, source can be readily identified (using binary search, example) thereby reducing latency memory resources required retain history.
