摘要: In this study we investigated the involvement of p53 polymorphism at codon 72, infection and typing human papillomavirus (HPV) correlation with HPV type other clinicopathologic characteristics in 72 Hong Kong women cervical cancer. We developed a simple nonradioactive method for determining gene. The homozygous arginine allele (Arg/Arg) was detected 22 (31%), proline (Pro/Pro) 14 (19%) heterozygous (Arg/Pro) 36 (50%) cases, respectively. Using consensus primers MY11 MY09, 55 (76%) cases. prevalent types were HPV-16 (55%), HPV-18 (16%) HPV-58 (9%). number HPV-positive cases Arg/Arg, Pro/Pro Arg/Pro 17 12 (22%) 26 (47%), not significantly correlated any (p > 0.05). No striking overrepresentation arginine-72 observed HPV-associated results did show that polymorphic form has prognostic significance
