摘要: A cobalt-copper catalyst promoted by "herringbone-type" multiwalled carbon nanotubes (CNTs) was developed. This displayed excellent performance for higher alcohol synthesis (HAS) from syngas, with the (C 2 - 8 -alc. + DME)-STY reached 760 mg/(g.h) under reaction conditions of 5.0 MPa and 573 K, which 1.78 times that CNT-free host, CO 3 Cu 1 . The addition a minor amount CNTs to host did not cause marked change in apparent activation energy HAS, but led an increase at surface concentration catalytically active Co-species, CoO(OH), kind Co-species related closely selective formation alcohols. Excellent adsorption this H generated micro-environment high H-adspecies on functioning catalyst, thus increasing rate hydrogenation reactions HAS. Moreover, synergistic action surface-concentration feed-gas greater inhibition WGS side-reaction. All these factors contribute considerably yield
