摘要: We have developed a novel concept for Compact Dual Ion Composition Experiment (CoDICE) that simultaneously provides high quality plasma and energetic ion composition measurements over 6 decades in energy wide variety of space environments. CoDICE measures the two critical populations plasmas: (1) mass ionic charge state 3D velocity angular distributions ∼10 eV/q–40 keV/q ions—CoDICE-Lo (2) composition, spectra, ∼30 keV–10 MeV ions—CoDICE-Hi. uses common, integrated Time-of-Flight (TOF) versus residual (E) subsystem measuring distinct populations.
