摘要: Coronary lesions located at a bifurcation present wide range of angiographic and anatomical morphologies depending upon the distribution plaque in segment affected. Different classifications have been proposed used to define these lesions.1-3 Although clearly all possible combinations, they are difficult memorise. For our classification we use 3 components bifurcation: main branch proximal (MBP), distal (MBD), side (SB). Respecting that sequence, propose new simple intuitive which does not demand memorisation. It consists giving binary value (1, 0) according whether each segments previously defined is compromised or not. Figure shows 7 morphologies. We consider this approach, compared previous classifications, makes description anatomy coronary bifurcations much more simple, factor technically strategically significant when facing percutaneous treatment assessing its results. Likewise, it could also facilitate inclusion descriptive parameters data base analyses result bifurcations. Last, allows for homogenous terminology comparing different series techniques.
