摘要: Objectives We sought to report the results of both bench-testing and our first clinical experience with this novel technique. Background The optimal stenting technique for bifurcation lesions has yet be defined. Methods This works by flaring proximal side stent in branch out like a flower petal. tested it vitro resultant structure polymer damage was observed main an optical microscopy, multislice computer tomography, intravascular ultrasound, endoscopy, electron microscopy. also applied 33 patients assessed patient outcomes up 9 months prospectively. Drug-eluting stents were used bench tests all patients. Results Bench-testing showed complete coverage minimal stent-layer overlapping. There little Procedural success achieved cases restenosis occurred 2 cases. In cases, “petal” done reluctantly after another had already been deployed before any branch. no incidences when electively. Conclusions terms ostial strut coverage, new “flower petal stenting” is effective treatment lesion may well superior other available techniques.
