摘要: Background: Safe realistic training and unbiased quantitative assessment of technical skills are required for laparoscopy. Virtual reality (VR) simulators may be useful tools assessing basic advanced surgical procedures. This study aimed to investigate the construct validity LapSimGyn VR simulator, determine learning curves gynecologists with different levels experience. Methods: For this study, 32 gynecologic trainees consultants (juniors or seniors) were allocated into three groups: novices (0 laparoscopic procedures), intermediate level (>20 100 procedures). All performed 10 sets simulations consisting skill tasks an ectopic pregnancy program. The carried out on 3 days within a maximum period 2 weeks. Assessment was based time, economy movement, error parameters measured by simulator. Results: data showed that expert significantly consistently better than novice gynecologists. differed between groups, showing experts start at higher more rapidly reach plateau their curve do groups surgeons. Conclusion: simulator package demonstrates both module procedural pregnancy. Learning can obtained, but performance complex tasks, repetitions not seem sufficient given task settings. also seems flexible widely accepted users.
