摘要: In this paper, we studied the water transport in thermoset matrices. We used Fourier Transform Infrared analysis (FTIR) during sorption/desorption experiments to investigate interaction between sorbed and epoxy network. Our results demonstrated that polymer matrix undergoes hydrolysis. found chemical species involved reaction process was residual anhydride groups. These support physical basis of three-dimensional (3D) diffusion/reaction model. finally showed model is able reproduce multi-cycle experiment, as well uptake hybrid metal/epoxy samples. simulated 3D distributions diffusing reacted water.
