摘要: As previous chapters in this book demonstrate, recently developed Procion dye injection techniques make it possible to study both the electrophysiological and morphological properties of single neurons. This chapter describes how anatomical information derived from use dye-filled pipettes can be used calculate passive membrane nerve cells. Knowledge parameters enables prediction size relative effectiveness synaptic potentials originating on dendritic tree (Rall, 1962, 1967, 1970). In order obtain accurate data, particular attention must paid micropipette recording techniques, these will discussed first part chapter. The experiments reported here were performed cat motoneurons, but should applicable many other
