摘要: SCTP (Stream Control Transmission Protocol) has demonstrated its scalability and flexibility in multiplexing multiple video streams into a single association as compared to other transport layer protocols. Yet association, it lacks the QoS provision of prioritized multimedia with different requirements. This paper therefore presents dynamic chunk adjustment for (DC-SCTP) supporting heterogeneous WLAN UMTS network. The proposed DC-SCTP not only allows us specify bit rate requirements but also offers "de-association" capability minimize unnecessary channel wastage, when mobile node moves network from WLAN. Simulation performed on NS-2 demonstrates effectiveness advantages our schemes over original SCTP.
