摘要: In 1990, the University of California, San Francisco, dedicated a new library to serve faculty, staff, and students meet their academic information needs for several decades come. Major environmental changes present additional management challenges, which can effectively be handled only through widespread use computing technologies. Over next five years, three-pronged strategy will followed. We are refining current physical, paper-based continuous application technology modernization functional improvement. At same time, we have begun planning, design, implementation "free-standing" Digital Library Health Sciences, focusing on innovative technology. To ensure complementarity product integrity where two libraries interface, look transform these separate entities into an eventual, integral whole.
