Observation of vibrational excitation in photoelectron spectroscopy of HI+2Π

摘要: Using photoelectron spectroscopy in combination with synchrotron radiation, we have observed previously inaccessible vibrational excitation of HI+ X 2113,z, 2111,2 final ionic states. The enhancement is shown to be caused by strongly predissociating autoionization resonances converging A ?Z+. Molecular constants are extracted from the spectra obtained at different energies.
