摘要: When a Ne:HBr or Ne:HI sample is codeposited at approximately 5 K with discharge‐excited neon atoms, the infrared spectrum of resulting solid includes not only absorptions HX molecule and its multimers but also prominent absorption HBr+ HI+. The each two cations lies within few cm−1 gas‐phase band center. vibrational fundamentals DBr+ DI+ are identified in experiments on deuterium‐enriched samples. Other assigned to normal deuterium‐substituted (HBr)+2 (HI)+2, as well BrHBr−, BrDBr−, IHI−. Studies changes following exposure deposit filtered visible near ultraviolet radiation support these assignments provide further information photodissociation photodetachment processes occurring systems.
