摘要: When a Ne:CCl4 sample is codeposited at approximately 5 K with beam of neon atoms that have been excited in microwave discharge, the infrared spectrum resulting deposit includes prominent absorptions not only CCl3 but also several other neutral and ionic species. The assigned to CCl3+, CCl2+, CCl+ are consistent previous spectroscopic identifications these As lower energies, Cl2CCl⋅⋅Cl isomer CCl4 contributes product spectrum. Higher level ab initio calculations fundamental vibrations this its carbon-13 substituted counterpart give improved agreement experimentally observed and, together results supplementary experiment, provide further support for assignment structured absorption near 500 cm−1 species, rather than Cl3+. Uncharged readily destroyed by visible radiation, concomitant growth CCl4. Photodestruction i...
