摘要: Adenosine deaminase (ADA) catalyzes the irreversible hydrolytic deamination of adenosine to produce inosine and ammonia (1). Extremely reduced or absent ADA activity in man is associated with one type severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID) (2). Previous studies normal from a variety species has provided evidence for substantial molecular heterogeneity. Multiple forms varying weight 30,000 47,000 (designated small form) 230,000 440,000 large have been reported. (3–16).
