摘要: Ferritin is the major intracellular iron-storage protein in eucaryotic cells and plays a prominent role maintaining iron homeostasis. We observed that transfection of NIH-3T3 mouse fibroblasts with adenovirus E1A oncogene specifically repressed mRNA for one subunits ferritin, ferritin H. This occurred absence any effect on L subunit ferritin. The repression H was not general feature expression since H-ras did affect composition. Deletion conserved regions responsible immortalization transcriptional impaired ability to repress Immunoprecipitation transfectants demonstrated decrease H/L ratio at level also exhibited level.
