摘要: We evaluated the effect of toothbrush/dentifrice brushing on weight variation and surface properties different denture bases. Four base materials (conventional heat cure, high impact, CAD/CAM, polyamide resins) were subjected to toothbrushing abrasion (50,000 strokes). The value, roughness, topography each group determined before after toothbrushing. hardness was measured by Vickers test. Data analyzed using ANOVA Bonferroni tests. After toothbrushing, resin had significantly increased; significant losses observed for conventional cure impact resins, but none CAD/CAM resin. roughness increased owing wear caused not affected hardness. Our results suggested that deteriorate with toothpaste, in which exhibited lower levels abrasion.
