摘要: Oncological diseases are invariably a challenge for the modern world. Therefore, in recent decades, scientists have begun to look compounds of natural origin that will be able support or independently used oncological therapy. Among antimicrobial proteins (AMPs), promising family peptides isolated from immunized hemolymph Hyalophora cecropia pupae has been distinguished. The cecropin is not only characterized by and antifungal properties, but most importantly also anticancer properties. Their antitumor potential confirmed vitro studies conducted on several different cell lines, among others, prostate breast cancer lines. This paper presents publications demonstrating cytolytic properties against tumour cells members belonging family, as well synthesized B with introduced modification its sequence conjugated modified luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH). Moreover, three models mechanisms action described. benefits limitations associated use these therapy demonstrated.
