摘要: Presented here is a case of Aspergillus osteomyelitis in an immunocompetent patient that progressed despite surgery and prolonged treatment with liposomal amphotericin B; the report followed by review literature. The this 41 similar cases found overall cure rate 69%. importance when B used as first-line therapy indicated 14% alone compared to 75% combined surgery. When failing or contraindicated, dose escalation using lipid formulation was not effective.
