Fabrication of lanthanum ferrite based liquefied petroleum gas sensor

摘要: Abstract In present investigation, lanthanum ferrite was synthesized by citrate–nitrate auto-combustion route. The prepared material characterized X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, UV–vis absorption spectroscopy and differential calorimetry. diffraction study confirmed the formation of nanocomposite its average crystallite size found to be 40 nm. Surface morphology sensing showed uniform distribution particles with large number pores. These pores act as gas adsorption sites. optical band gap 4.18 eV. maximum percentage sensor response for observed 394.
