摘要: Intestinal malrotation with volvulus is generally presented as a bilious vomiting and acute intestinal obstruction in the newborn period. It could compromise vascular supply of small bowel secondary to torsion superior mesenteric artery (SMA) without urgent surgical management, it lead detrimental outcomes such transmural infarction sepsis. However, chronic cases, rarely obstructs propagates an infarction. Rarely, midgut may not reduce blood because collateral vessels, chronically stagnated flow vein (SMV) favors thrombus formation within lumen.
