摘要: Abstract Various challenges facing the industrial manufacture of biobased lactic acid (LA) have been occurred. These include substrate and/or pre-treatments cost, medium and contamination risk as a result utilizing neutral pH mesophilic conditions. Therefore, this study focused on development consolidated bioprocess for LA production from organic wastes under harsh A newly isolated thermo-alkali-tolerant bacterium, Enterococcus durans BP130, was firstly used direct banana peels (BP). Increasing solid concentration BP 4.0% to 6.7% [w-dry matter/v] resulted in increased fermentation efficiency with highest (19.2 g L−1) at matter/v]. Besides, co-fermentation food waste (FW) materials 13% improvements 12% productivity 0.5:1 FW:BP (w/w). concentrations could replace nutritional components media achieved production. Without any nutrients supplementation, substituted 14.3 g L−1 produced using mixed substrates 3:1 The 28.8  g L−1 yield 0.85 g g−1-consumed sugar 0.24 g L−1 h−1 batch CaCO3 neutralizing agent. This introduced effective waste-based biorefinery process an inexpensive system.
