Solvent interface effect on the size and crystalline nature of the GdPO4:Eu3+ nanorods

摘要: Abstract GdPO 4 :Eu 3+ nanorods (~20 nm) were synthesized by a facile hydrothermal technique based on the water/2-PrOH interface. The size of was controlled varying reaction temperature and solvent After calcination at 700 °C, hexagonal phase as-prepared ·H 2 O:Eu transformed into monoclinic phase, which confirmed XRD patterns TEM images. During process, along with transformation, also shortened removal H O molecules from lattice. Photoluminescence (PL) excitation spectra revealed efficient energy transfer between Gd Eu ions orange-red emission typically observed PL because exist inversion symmetry in Also, these highly dispersible water.
