摘要: Abstract The structure and organization of the zona pellucida plasma membrane hamster egg at various stages maturation development were examined using lectin-mediated agglutination binding fluorescent-labeled lectins. Ricinus communis I Dolichos biflorus lectins specifically agglutinated both unfertilized fertilized eggs, while wheat germ agglutinin (WGA) only eggs which had been pretreated with protease. Six other failed to agglutinate even A comparison lectin-binding sites on in revealed that intensity distribution remain unchanged. Zona-free by every lectin tested except those recognizing l -fucose-like residues. Fertilized zona-free slightly more agglutinable concanavalin (ConA), Lens culinaris WGA than eggs. When surfaces fluorescent ConA, WGA, maximal was seen when reached full maturity decreased during later preimplantation development.
