摘要: Abstract The ability of 3.5-day mouse blastocysts and vesicles prepared from maternal uterine epithelium to adhere surfaces by charge interactions was compared observing their adhesion DEAE-Sephadex beads in the presence increasing concentrations dextran sulfate. frequency for both declined a manner suggesting that predominantly ionic sites were being titrated, but differences between two tissues characteristics titration curve susceptibility neuraminidase digestion indicated nonionic relatively more important blastocysts. Because threshold concentration sulfate required initiate displacement DEAE at least 4× blastocysts, we argue had interactive charged groups on its surface than These even pronounced 4.5 days after mating, time when attachment is normally first seen vivo. Blastocysts isolated this showed marked increase resistance polyanion competition, nearly 50% decline negative not compensated mechanisms. observations support conclusion initial vivo accompanied reduction negativity epithelial formation new trophoblast cell nonelectrostatic interactions.
